Colorfully creative, after 30 plus years of working with the public, consulting, designing and architecturally sculpting hair fibers on her patrons heads, formulating their colors, painting on the medium of their hair is, what Jessica calls, "wearable art". She desired to finish her educational goals, but  was finding being the CEO of a 5 year old corporation that she founded, meant many extra hours of tedious paperwork, hiring and managing day to day operations with no time for getting back to her academic goals she had begun prior to owning her own business. She was particularly inspired by a colorful fauve painting on canvas that she had decorated with in her first hair salon, a replica of Henry Matisse's, Madame Matisse, aka "The Green Line". After selling her first "Going Green" salon and Day Spa in 2011 and being independent again, she could focus on her studies by joining a Co Op where she's happy to continue "going green" in regards to healthier practices, well being and doing her art. Pictured above, her very first painting in 2016 starting her studio arts degree. New news, the Co Op is now opening an art studio ..

Jessica Evrist, artist/colorist/activist in her "going green" studio with the inspirational picture of "The Green Line", on the wall behind her. On her latest painting she used one strand of her own hair to paint with using acrylic paint on canvas, the technique of paint dragging with a strand of hair, to depict the electrical activity of neurotransmitters in "Space Wars". 

Researching and using new computer programs, she discovered a little secret of NASA that they also use art. Photo shop and paintings. "Green lines on the borders mean from green screens. The moon doesn't have a green line NASA. Busted!"
